Lake George for Labor Day

We originally had plans to visit Sue and Irene on Cape Cod over Labor Day, but Hurricane Earl put a stop to that. Instead, we took a little trip to the beautiful Lake George!
Studying in the sun!

A little update

Hi!

It turns out that moving across the country is really tiring. We're getting settled in, compiling photos and stories and will give some updates soon! (The photos will be posted to the post below).

From Seattle to Albany: The Beginning

The Point of All This

Seattle, WA to Albany, NY is 2,910 miles. That is 46 hours of straight driving at highway speeds. We (Sarah and Andrew) have set out to make this trip in 5 days. Although this journey has been made many times before, it has never been done by us.
Our Plan:
to document our adventure with photos and stories so you can experience this trip with us as if you were sitting in the passenger's seat of our moving truck.

What is the point of all this?

Albany Medical College of course! Sarah has been accepted to the school and classes are going to start in no time. Hopefully you can learn a little bit about the great expanses of the US highways before our trip is done. What will we write about once we've arrived? Albany from the perspective of a new arrival. You can see what Albany is like to the uninitiated and green! We are excited to see what's in store, and hope you enjoy our blog!
